Directors of Arrow International Australia (Pty) Ltd include the two founding Directors of the Arrow Group of Companies Ron Anderson and Bob Foster. Other directors include Bruce Davidson as independent appointed Chairman and Vinod Perera as CEO.

Bruce Davidson (Chairman)

Bruce has taken over as Chairman from Ron Anderson, who (along with Bob Foster) is one of the founding directors of the New Zealand based Arrow Group of Companies. Bruce has an enviable track record of being a Director and Independent Chairman for over 15 years in some of the major operations in Australia including publicly listed companies. His recent corporate governance experience includes sectors such as property, legal, infrastructure, healthcare and technology. The appointment of Bruce is a reflection of the Board’s intent to ensure that the company is run in the most professional manner in relation to its governance in a safe and secure manner and thereby ensuring stability and strategic growth.

Bob Foster (Director)

Bob graduated from the Auckland University Engineering School with a Bachelor Engineering (Civil). Bob is keen on the outdoors and has done several adventure races in New Zealand and overseas. Bob is an experienced businessman with a proven track record of establishing and growing companies both in New Zealand and overseas. In 1973 Bob started a successful career with Fletcher Construction Limited where he worked his way up to being responsible for Civil Engineering work for the South Island. In 1985 Bob and Ron Anderson founded Arrow International. Over the years Arrow grew to include branches nationwide and in Australia.

Ron Anderson (Founding Director)

Ron was a founding Director of Arrow International in 1984 and has led the company in the management of a large number of projects throughout New Zealand and Australia. Ron has 40 years experience in the construction industry where he has undertaken business planning, programming, cost control, co-ordination and project management work. He gained much of his experience with Fletcher Construction, where he established and managed Fletcher Special Projects, specialising in meat industry projects. Ron has completed the Southland District Health Board’s new $70M hospital and was instrumental in securing the project and setting up the Joint Venture between Fetchers and Arrow International. He then went on to Chair the Joint Venture to a very successful conclusion to this major hospital project. Ron is currently one of the founding trustees of Carisbrook Stadium Trust who are responsible for the delivery of the $198m Forsyth Barr Stadium in Dunedin.

Vinod Perera (CEO)

Vinod has more than 20 years experience in the construction industry working for Arrow New Zealand for 10 years (before moving to Melbourne in May 2000) and a few British, German and Sri Lankan companies. He has a “hands on” approach to construction having started his own career in the industry from the ground up. In addition, he is highly qualified academically, holding two Masters Degrees in technical and management fields and having recently studied at Stanford Graduate School.

Vinod is ultimately responsible for all operational activities of Arrow Australia. He has more than 20 years experience in the construction industry working for Arrow New Zealand for 10 years (before moving to Melbourne in May 2000) as well as British, German and Sri Lankan companies. He has a “hands on” approach to construction having started his own career in the industry from the ground up. In addition he is highly qualified academically, holding two Masters Degrees in technical and management fields and having recently studied at Stanford Graduate School.
