Unique Aspects

Extremely tight programme: a 12-week design and construction period with just eight weeks for construction.
During the construction period, further restraints were imposed due to the restricted hours of work and the limitations of noise levels.  At all times during construction the hotel had to remain fully functional.
Effective communication was critical as the client was based offshore.
Mechanical plant had to be ordered before the mechanical design was available.
Long lead-time of some materials and equipment meant that the construction programme had to be tailored around the deliverables rather than the construction sequencing of the job.
